What We're Learning in Library Skills
In addition to Library Media skills, all grades are focusing on the iSafe Internet Safety curriculum.
Kindergarten students are learning how to properly take care of their library books (such as using bookmarks, turning pages, & keeping books safe from pets and younger siblings).
First graders are learning how books are arranged on the library shelves and are now able to choose from both the fiction and nonfiction sections on their own.
Second graders are learning about book call numbers and how libraries work. They are also being introduced to chapter books!
