Welcome to the Elm Drive health office!
For your child's safety, appropriate summer footwear is needed for PE and outdoor recess. Sneakers are best but if sandals are worn, they should have a heel strap. Many children are prone to tripping in Crocs and no flip flops please!
It's great to see so many children bringing healthy snacks and/or lunches. Feel free to send in a water bottle anytime, especially on the warm days.
Please continue to encourage frequent handwashing and the proper use of hand sanitizer; covering coughs and sneezes into the elbow and staying home when sick. For any illness, your child must be fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication before returning to school.
Please call the office when they are absent and send in a note when they return. Thank you!

If your child requires any medication in school, including over the counter, the following are required:
- A written order from the health care provider for the medication to be given in school as well as signed consent by the parent. The order must be renewed for each school year.
- The medication must be brought in to school by an adult with the original pharmacy label. Never send any kind of medication to school with your child.
