STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AND SAT/AP AND ACT TEST ACCOMODATIONS
Students who plan on applying to a Four-Year College
are encouraged to take the SAT and/or ACT exams. Collegeboard
administers the SAT/AP Examinations. American College Testing
administers the ACT Examination. Students who are enrolled at the High
School who take Advanced Placement courses can also apply for test
accomodations. A consent form is available at your child's Annual Review
and in the main office. Please complete this form and return it to
Lisa Petta in Guidance. At that time, we will send all needed documents
for accomodations to the centers. Please keep in mind:
1. There is no guarantee these test centers will grant test accomodations
2. Test accomodations may not be the same as those your child receives in High School
3. It takes about 8 weeks from date of submission to receive a decision.
4. It is the parent's responsibility to submit the consent and to register online or through mail for the actual exam.
