MCSD FCCLA Members Excel At State Competition

This past week, members from our chapter of Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) attended the NYS FCCLA Competition in Owego, NY. The 8 students who attended attended leadership workshops and competed in 5 different events. All six of our students who competed in national level events qualified to represent NY at the National Leadership Conference this summer in Nashville, TN!!! The two students who did not qualify did well but their event was a New York State only level event but they also did well. Our chapter collectively also earned $19,000.00 in college scholarships due to their achievement!!
