Parent Workshops Announcement - Thinking Maps "University"

As a parent, do you ever see your child struggling with homework or trying to figure out how to prepare for a test or quiz? If so, this workshop is for you! You are invited to participate in one of our three currently scheduled "Thinking Maps" workshops to learn about how to use these critical thinking tools to support your child's learning. Thinking Maps are being introduced and used district-wide in all subject areas to support teachers' engagement of students as learners and for our students to organize, represent and present what they understand. Participants in these workshops will be eligible to receive software for your home computer, so that your children can do their homework using these graphical tools. Our three current workshops are listed below. If you haven't yet registered for the workshop, you are welcome to call your child's school to indicate your interest in attending. If you cannot attend your child's home school session, you are welcome to go to a session at another school by calling to register there. We hope you will join us at these valuable sessions for supporting your child's learning!
