Student Registration Information for Parents

Welcome to the Millbrook Central School District.

*****Kindergarten Registration*****

Our Kindergarten Registration for September 2017 will be conducted the first week in March.

Monday, March 6th 8am – 12pm; 1pm – 2:30pm

Tuesday, March 7th 8am – 12pm; 1pm – 2:30pm and 4pm – 6pm

Wednesday, March 8th 8am – 12pm; 1pm – 2:30pm

Thursday, March 9th 8am – 12pm; 1pm – 2:30pm

All children must be five years old by December 1, 2017.

Please report to the Main Office at Elm Drive Elementary School with the following FOUR mandatory documents:

1) Original birth certificate with the raised seal OR passport AND 2) Immunization record AND 3) School tax bill OR lease agreement OR mortgage statement AND 4) Utility bill (electric, cable, water, fuel), must state “for service at” showing your residence’s address (not mailing address)

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE FOUR ITEMS, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO COME BACK AT A FUTURE DATE

Millbrook is comprised of four buildings: Elm Drive Elementary School (K-2), Alden Place Elementary School (3-5), Millbrook Middle School (6-8) and Millbrook High School (9-12).

Parents should begin the registration process by calling Mrs. Michele Hartswick, Central Registrar (845) 677-4225, ext. 5101 to make an appointment.

You are welcome to download the required forms (below) or stop in to our office and obtain a registration packet in advance to minimize your appointment time.

The school district is required by New York State Education law to verify the prospective student’s eligibility for enrollment based on residency within the district’s boundaries.

Required Documents:  you will not be able to register without the following
1. Original birth certificate with the raised seal OR passport; AND
2. Immunization record; AND
3. School tax bill OR lease agreement OR mortgage statement; AND
4. Utility bill (electric, cable, water, fuel) bill must state “for service at”
5. Student’s current IEP (if applicable)

For Private School and Pre-School Families requesting Testing... a detailed letter that formally requests SPED testing and outlines your concerns about your son or daughter is also required.
