- For current tax year information, access Info-Tax Online.
- Bills are created by Dutchess County and mailed at the end of August.
- Any address changes need to be made in the town in which the parcel is located.
- If you are paying for multiple parcels, or in cash, please call the School Tax Collector, Camille Petrone, at 845.677.4200 ext 1105 to make an appointment.
- Checks should be dated for the day they are mailed. All checks are deposited immediately.
- Most errors on checks are made on the written line which also is the legal line. Please be sure that the amount written is correct.
- The upper left portion of your bill indicates to whom and where payment should be sent.
- Envelopes must have a readable postmark. If paying close to the deadline, have your envelope hand-stamped inside the Post Office.
- Do you want a receipt? Mail the entire bill. The upper portion of the bill is what is used as a receipt. If you do not include it with your payment, you will not receive a receipt.
- Please be advised that post-dated checks will be marked void and returned.

- September 1, 2022 through October 3, 2022, with no penalty
- October 4, 2022 to November 2, 2022 must include 2% late fee added on

If paying in two (2) installments:
The first installment is due by September 15, 2022 and should be made payable to "School Tax Collector". Checks may be delivered in person or mailed to PO Box 686, Millbrook, NY 12545.
The second installment is due by March 15, 2023, should be made payable to "The Commissioner of Finance" and mailed to:

Poughkeepsie, NY 12601There is a five percent (5%) service charge on installments, to be paid with each installment of school taxes. The second installment may not be paid until the first installment, and any interest due, has been paid.
Collection by the school district ends on November 2nd. After November 2nd, please contact the Dutchess County Commissioner of Finance to arrange your payment: 845.486.2025.

Please verify that the amount written is correct, that the check is signed and a phone number is provided on the check.

Payments will be accepted in person, via USPS, or overnight delivery.
If paying in person:
Payments can be dropped off in the Locked Safe Deposit Box in the Middle School lobby, 43 Alden Place, open during school hours

Directly to the School Tax Collector, after you have signed in with the Attendant at the lobby window
