The Essential Elements:  Schools-to-Watch National Forum was held in Washington, DC June 26-29,2019.  Four representatives from the District, Principal Steve Cabello, Special Education teacher Dana Bo, School Counselor Kelly Mahoney, and Superintendent of Schools Phil D'Angelo, attended the Forum to attend workshops and to receive the Schools-To-Watch National Recognition Award (award photo included). The Essential Elements:  Schools-to-Watch Program recognizes schools that are exemplars for the implementation of the State Education Department's Essential Elements of Standards-Focused Middle-Level Schools and Programs (website:  eestw.org).  Selection for designation  is based on successful completion of a rigorous and comprehensive application process, including an intensive on-site evaluation by their peers.  Congratulations to the Millbrook Middle School faculty and staff!
