At the December 19th Board of Ed meeting, student representatives from multiple grades assisted Library Media Specialist Cathie Morton in dedicating the Middle School MakerSpace to retiring Superintendent, Phil D’Angelo. Students individually expressed their appreciation for having access to the materials, and played a video that showed numerous students engaged in MakerSpace projects. Mr. D’Angelo was then presented with a custom shirt created just for him in the MakerSpace, along with a sign reading “D’Angelo’s Dare to Dream MakerSpace”, which will be hung in the Middle School Library to commemorate his dedication to growing the District’s library media program.
