Millbrook High School DCC English 101 College Connection Class Participates in Class Debates
Mrs. Traudt's MHS DCC English 101 College Connection class participated in two class debates this year. The debates were part of our Argument and Persuasion unit. We live in a society where we are bombarded by argument and persuasion every day. The students involved were passionate, ethical, logical, emotional and demonstrated their convincing public speaking skills.
Skyler Fountain's team debated against Jake Wilber's team in heated discourse regarding the impact of Social Media on teenagers. Sophie Lucal's team argued with Riley Kaan's team about the importance of a College Education.
