Actor Jeremy Davidson Virtually Visits MHS English Class
Michelle Traudt's DCC ENG 102 class hosted local actor and writer Jeremy Davidson. Davidson runs the Story Horse Theater, a documentary theater project in the Hudson Valley. The theater project's stories are inspired by transcribed conversations with the people of our communities, historical documents, and other primary sources and focus on the social, political, environmental and medical issues we face. The stories are brought to life by actors in multi-media staged readings.
Davidson virtually spoke with Traudt's students about the personal process of writing and being invested in finding and sharing a moving story. As a class, the students read a section of Davidson's documentary theater project story titled "The Quiet Execution of Frank L. Teal".
